Peruvian-Danish Business Council

The Peruvian Danish Business Council was established in 2015 with the purpose of creating a forum to articulate the interests of Danish companies established in Peru with stakeholders and decision makers in the country, as well as the generation of cooperation and networks between Peruvian-Danish companies. We seek to constitute a platform for the promotion of Danish commercial interests in Peru through talks, high-level political and economic analysis, and articulation with public institutions. The Chamber currently has 10 members.

The Council meets 4-5 times a year and during these meeting we may invite relevant guest speakers. Company visits can be arranged, as well as business-to-business meetings. The members themselves actively run the Council, while the Embassy of Denmark to Peru acts as secretariat.

The members receive the publication Focus Denmark and other relevant material. We will send invitations to special events that may be of interest and it is possible for members to participate in joint Nordic events arranged by the Nordic Chambers of Commerce/Business Councils.

The membership year runs from 1 January to 31 December the membership fee is 4.000 soles pr. person/company. Only one name can be connected to one membership – however, this does not exclude the possibility of sending a representative to a meeting on your behalf. In fact, we encourage the companies to be present at every meeting/event.

The fee covers the cost of the secretariat. When presented with wishes to invite non-members to the meetings, the secretariat will evaluate the possibility of participation depending on the physical space available. Breakfast or a light lunch when the meetings take place at the Embassy is included. In the event that a meeting takes place at another location than at the Embassy, the associated costs will be charged separately, if relevant.
